The Pranic Healing is a discipline spiritual elaborated in the twentieth century by Master Choa Kok Sui, a chemical engineer and businessman Filipino origin Chinese , and published for the first time in 1987 in the book Miracles Through Pranic Healing .
The discipline includes techniques of meditation and manipulation of prana or energetic body, which can be practiced alone or practiced by an operator, based on the concept of prana , ie a supposed "vital breath" present in the Universe and in the human body and in all forms of life; in particular, these techniques would allow (according to the promoters of the discipline) to compensate for any imbalances of prana within the energy body, by absorbing prana from the Universe.
These techniques, according to the promoters of Pranic Healing , could be used as complementary medicine to obtain complete healing or a valid contribution to the improvement of the patient 's health conditions ; to date there is no evidence of effectiveness that can support this statement
